VTC NewsVTC News29/12/2024

VAR saved the Vietnamese team from losing a goal.

Vietnam conceded a goal in the 10th minute of the second leg of the semi-final against Singapore. Nguyen Dinh Trieu blocked the first shot but the next header from Hariss Harun was blocked by the home team's goalkeeper and defenders.

Fans and players from both teams spent 7 minutes in suspense as the referee listened to VAR and went to the sidelines to review the video. In the end, the Vietnamese team escaped a goal because Harun was offside. The Singaporean player was standing below the last Vietnamese player at the moment his teammate made the first shot.
