Accordingly, Regiment 1 helped the people. Relocated 80 houses to resettlement area, built 5 new houses, leveled 24 houses; dredged nearly 93km of drainage ditches, internal canals.

Reclaiming and improving 15 hectares of land for rice cultivation, building 2km of water dams; digging 96 toilet wastewater drainage tunnels, planting 13,500m2 of grass to prevent landslides in resettlement areas, digging 1,100 tree planting holes, planting 900 trees along the roads; general cleaning and consolidating the environmental landscape of 90 schools, cultural houses, People's Committee headquarters, medical stations, and village roads in localities in Gia Lai province.

In particular, the Regiment has coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, organizations, and twinned units to organize propaganda and education on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; to propagate and educate the traditions of the nation, the Party, and the Army to all classes of people; and to present hundreds of gifts to policy families, meritorious people, poor households, and students in difficult circumstances in the area.

This is the result of the emulation movement "Regiment 1 joins hands to build new rural areas" and "Regiment 1 joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind" in the period 2021-2025.

The movements not only contribute to supporting localities in building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction, but also educate traditions, foster ethics, a lifestyle close to the people, and respect for the people for all cadres and soldiers; successfully fulfill the functions of the working army, and build a comprehensively strong, "exemplary, typical" unit.
