Regiment 4: Many meaningful activities on International Children's Day

This year, in addition to annual activities, the Regiment pays special attention to and supports orphans affected by the Covid-19 pandemic with practical programs.

Notably, the unit continues to implement the “Godmother” program to support the care of orphans affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The program has been bringing warmth to many unfortunate lives.

Union members, youth, Women's Union and sister units visited and gave gifts to orphans affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dinh Thi Yen Vy (born in 2011, residing in An Hoa hamlet, An Binh commune, Chau Thanh district) is one of the cases receiving special support from the unit. Her family's circumstances are very difficult, Yen Vy's father passed away due to the Covid-19 epidemic. With the care of the Regiment, Yen Vy received meaningful gifts and timely encouragement.

In her emotion, Yen Vy shared: “I am very grateful for the care of the ladies and gentlemen at Regiment 4. Thanks to these gifts, I feel much warmer. I promise to try my best to study well so as not to disappoint everyone’s expectations.”

In addition, the unit organized meetings, cultural exchanges and gave gifts to the children. Participating in the program, the children were immersed in a joyful and warm atmosphere with special cultural performances and exciting and attractive group games. The meaningful gifts given were not only gifts of encouragement but also showed the affection and care of the leaders and commanders of the Regiment towards the military rear.

In particular, the Regiment organized visits and encouraged children in difficult circumstances, children of families with meritorious services to the revolution. These diverse and meaningful activities not only bring joy and happiness to the children but also demonstrate the social responsibility and deep concern of Regiment 4 for the future generation. This not only strengthens the solid rear, helps officers and soldiers feel secure in their work, and excellently complete all assigned tasks, but also spreads the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era.
