Regarding the patient with a punctured lung, according to the District Health Center, at 5:51 a.m. on June 9, the Emergency Resuscitation Department received patient Giang Thi May, residing in Dak Ngo commune, Tuy Duc district, in a conscious state, with a penetrating chest wound.
After examination, the doctor diagnosed patient May with shock due to cardiac tamponade, penetrating chest wound, pleural effusion, and punctured middle lobe of the right lung. Afterwards, patient May received first aid from doctors of the Emergency Resuscitation Department and the Surgery Department and was transferred to the emergency operating room. To date, the patient has passed the danger zone and is in stable health.
