In the international force parade, the Vietnam People's Army marched in 8th place. These were 68 soldiers from the 1st Army Officer School, they followed an 8x8 formation with a group of 3 carrying the national flag and a group leader leading the way holding a sword.

After the parade, Russian President Putin went down to Red Square to greet and greet the commanders of the participating blocs.

When President Putin stepped up to the position of the Chief of the Vietnam People's Army, Lieutenant Pham Khac Giang (Commander of Battalion 1, Army Officer School 1) saluted and said loudly: "Hello President, I wish you good health!". Then, President Putin shook hands with Chief of the Vietnam People's Army.

Sharing with the press, Lieutenant Pham Khac Giang said that shaking hands with Russian President Putin was not only an honor for him but also a handshake for all soldiers in the bloc.

According to Lieutenant Giang, during the training days in Moscow, he and his teammates in the group received a lot of attention and help from the people, teammates at home and overseas Vietnamese in Russia. Therefore, after completing the parade mission in Red Square, the whole group felt very honored and proud because the training days had achieved certain results.

"We are very happy to receive congratulations from our leaders, people and comrades," said Lieutenant Giang.

Lieutenant Giang also revealed that during his training and as a block leader, he always reminded himself to try hard and actively follow the exercises given by the instructors. In addition, he trained his personal fitness to set an example for his fellow students in the block to follow.

"I would like to send my deepest thanks to my comrades, teammates at home and all the Vietnamese people, who have always followed us, giving us the motivation to complete our mission," continued block leader Giang.
