Hanoi College of Foreign Languages ​​and Technology opens new school year

On the morning of October 4, Hanoi College of Foreign Languages ​​and Technology solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year, announced the decision and awarded the Certificate of meeting the standards for quality assessment of vocationaleducation institutions.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Meritorious Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Van Quan - Principal of Hanoi College of Foreign Languages ​​and Technology said that in the 2023-2024 school year, the learning and training results of the school's students reached a fairly good level of over 80%; the rate of students having jobs immediately after receiving their diplomas was 68%. This is the premise to ensure that 90% of the school's students have jobs within 6 months after graduation.

Scientific and technological activities of staff, teachers, students and pupils have been promoted; the school's network of partners in training and scientific research has been expanded; the school's facilities, finance and human resources have been enhanced in both quantity and quality...

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school is determined to continue to improve the organizational structure, develop staff, and improve school governance capacity to meet the requirements of digital transformation, innovation and international integration in vocational education; and develop a school development strategy for the 2025-2030 period.

The school has also gradually raised the entrance standards in enrollment; opened new training majors in foreign languages ​​and technology; developed training programs in the direction of liberal education, open education and access to high-quality training programs, international training programs; organized flexible training, linked with businesses, the labor market and employment.

Promote cooperation in training and scientific and technological activities; continue the school's curriculum compilation plan and publish approved textbooks; organize the first scientific research conference for students; promote career guidance, start-up and employment programs for students...

Strengthen activities and conditions to ensure educational quality to meet the requirements of the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework Implementation Plan for vocational education levels and the Vocational Training Quality Improvement Index; upgrade the school's IT infrastructure so that management and training activities are guaranteed in all situations.

Meritorious teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Van Quan also informed that the school will continue to invest in building and expanding training facilities at Campus 2 (Minh Khai Ward, Bac Tu Liem District) and at the affiliated unit - Lang Son Branch of Hanoi Community College and Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers in Hanoi and the provinces: Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai. Exploit and effectively use resources to improve training quality; create a working and learning environment and motivation for cadres, teachers, employees and students.

At the Opening Ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Ngan - Deputy Head of Quality Assessment Department, Secretary of the Assessment Council - representative of the CATD Center under the Vietnam Community College Association announced the Decision on granting the Certificate of meeting the standards of quality assessment of vocational education institutions to Hanoi College of Foreign Languages ​​and Technology.

Mr. Can Tien Dung - Deputy Director of CATD Center - Chairman of the Accreditation Council awarded the Certificate of meeting the accreditation standards of vocational education institutions to the school's Board of Directors.

On the occasion of the opening of the new school year, Hanoi College of Foreign Languages ​​and Technology awarded students with the highest admission scores in the 2024 admission period and students with high achievements in studying and training in the 2023-2024 school year./.
