The new point in the school's exam in the 2024 - 2025 school year is to organize 3 tests instead of 2 tests like the 2023 - 2024 school year with multiple choice and essay tests (50 minutes/subject).
The school evaluates students' abilities through the following subjects: Math - Natural Science with a test time of 40 minutes; Vietnamese - Social Science, 40 minutes; English, 50 minutes.
The Math - Natural Science test has a total of 12 questions, 5 of which are related to knowledge of natural science subjects in the primary education program, mainly in the 4th and 5th grade program. For Math, there will be a structure of 5 multiple choice questions and 2 essay questions.

In the Social Science - Vietnamese proficiency test, there are 12 questions in total (40 minutes), the Social Science section will have questions related to the subjects History - Geography - Ethics. In the Vietnamese section, the questions will be related to Vietnamese knowledge mainly in the 4th and 5th grade curriculum.
Finally, there is the English proficiency test with 22 questions (50 minutes), students will have to complete 20 multiple choice questions and 2 essay questions in the form of writing a short paragraph describing the meaning of a provided image or writing a short paragraph on a given topic.
Each test is scored on a 10-point scale, with a total test score of 40 points (English multiplied by a factor of 2).
The school made an early announcement to help parents and students proactively review to achieve high results in the 6th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year.
In the 2023-2024 school year, Foreign Language Secondary School - Foreign Language University will enroll 150 6th grade students.
The school accepts primary school students nationwide, graduating in 2023, and students with Vietnamese nationality returning from abroad or children of foreigners living in Vietnam.
Admission requirements: Students have completed primary school and are of the required age.
