Hoang Dinh Giong Political School is recognized as meeting level 1 standards.

On the afternoon of August 27, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held a meeting of the Council for the assessment of Hoang Dinh Giong Political School in Cao Bang province to meet level 1 standards. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Chairman of the Council chaired the meeting.

On the side of Cao Bang province, there were comrade Vu Hong Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades: Le Hai Yen, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Nong Thanh Tung, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Hoang Dinh Giong Political School.

Overview of the meeting.

Pursuant to Regulation No. 11 - QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 of the Secretariat on standard political schools, Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee issued Project No. 12 on building Hoang Dinh Giong Political School to meet level I standards, period 2021 - 2025; The Project Steering Committee issued 3 implementation plans on training and fostering staff and civil servants; scientific research, summarizing practices and investing in construction and completion of facilities and equipment. The budget for implementing the Project is over 41.4 billion VND.

According to the survey results report, the school has currently achieved 53/55 targets in 6 groups of criteria, of which 8 targets exceeded the standard, 2 targets requested opinions. Specifically: the rate of full-time and part-time lecturers reached 89.9% (exceeding 14.9% ) ; lecturers with professional qualifications from master's degree or higher reached 90.9% (exceeding 0.9%); lecturers with certificates of training in Marxist-Leninist classics and Ho Chi Minh thought reached 84.85% (exceeding 4.85%); lecturers holding the rank of main lecturer (grade II civil servant) or equivalent or higher reached 83.33% (exceeding 23.33%); implemented 21 school-level topics (exceeding 40%); organized 4 provincial-level seminars (exceeding 1 seminar, exceeding 33%); In 5 years, 6 books were published (1 book more than expected, 20% more than expected); 18/22 intermediate political theory classes were conducted, reaching a ratio of 1/1.22, exceeding the level 2 standard. The above results demonstrate the great efforts and determination of the school's staff and lecturers in implementing the criteria of a level 1 political school according to regulations.

At the meeting, the Appraisal Council reviewed and commented on 2 unmet criteria in the group of criteria on staff and civil servants. Currently, the school is continuing to improve, sending staff and lecturers to attend training and fostering courses and will basically ensure the completion of the criteria in the coming time. Accordingly, the Council members basically agreed with the results of the assessment being accurate, objective, fair, transparent, and true to reality; agreed to approve the 2 criteria expected to be completed in the coming time and unanimously proposed to recognize Hoang Dinh Giong Political School as meeting level 1 standards according to Regulation No. 11-QD/TW.

Concluding the meeting, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Chairman of the Appraisal Council Nguyen Xuan Thang highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, the efforts of the Board of Directors and staff, lecturers of Hoang Dinh Giong Political School in building a level 1 standard school with many positive results, many indicators achieved higher than the set standards.

Agreeing with the assessment of the Council members, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested: After being recognized, Cao Bang province should continue to pay attention to maintaining the criteria of achieving level 1 standards according to regulations; pay attention to arranging and organizing the team of leaders and managers to ensure criteria, continuity and inheritance. The province continues to direct the school to, in addition to undertaking the task of training and fostering political theory and state management, provide professional guidance to political training centers located in central communes, ensuring unified leadership and direction from the Central to the grassroots in political training and fostering.

The school continues to focus on doing well in research and teaching; opening training and fostering classes associated with the direction of expanding training, connecting and connecting; linking theory with practice, closely following the Party's policies and guidelines for innovation, especially in implementing the current 2-level local government model, promoting autonomy, building a team of lecturers with a solid grasp of theoretical and practical knowledge, and developing appropriate teaching materials. Paying attention to actively innovating teaching methods, devoting most of the time to discussion and exchange. Along with that, continuing to proactively propose and develop scientific research topics and tasks suitable to the practical situation in the locality.

At the meeting, 9/9 members of the Appraisal Council unanimously approved the recognition of Hoang Dinh Giong Political School in Cao Bang province as meeting level 1 standards.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Quang respectfully thanked and accepted the comments of the Appraisal Council. At the same time, he affirmed that after the School reaches level 1 standards, the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee will continue to pay attention to ensuring the maintenance of the criteria, stabilizing the staff apparatus, increasingly improving the quality of the school's staff and lecturers; continue to develop a project to build a School that meets level 2 standards. The province will organize the announcement of the School meeting level 1 standards in mid-September 2025, practically welcoming the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
