Diverse admission methods
In 2025, Kien Giang University will enroll and train 25 majors, with 3,135 targets, of which 2,025 are regular students. The school has built a diverse set of admission subjects, creating favorable conditions for students to have more opportunities to apply for suitable majors. The school implements a variety of admission methods including: Considering high school transcripts (the whole year of grade 12); considering the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's 2025 capacity assessment test; considering the results of the 2025 V.SAT exam; considering learning results (secondary, college, university); considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; direct admission - priority according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates applying for preschool education must go through the school's preliminary round.
To effectively carry out the enrollment work, the school promotes enrollment counseling in many direct and online forms. Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Principal of Kien Giang University said: "The school actively provides enrollment counseling in the direction of enhancing in-depth counseling on the nature, characteristics, and requirements of each job position of each major so that students can decide to choose the right major. When making the right decision from the beginning, students have the best preparation for themselves, especially in terms of attitude, thinking about the major, career as well as the skills required to cultivate and practice during the university study process, thereby having a direction to strive to study and practice to best meet the requirements of employers after graduation".
