On August 15, the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Hong Bang International University (HIU) announced the "Full English training program in Logistics".
The program aims to equip students with in-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management according to international standards, while improving their specialized English skills.
According to the Vietnam Logistics Research and Development Institute, by 2030, the industry will need about 250,000 workers, but the current supply only meets 40%.
Dr. Dang Thanh Tuan, Head of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, said that English is an important tool to help logistics staff communicate with customers and global partners, access technical documents, advanced management software and update international standards.
However, the number of graduates from English training programs in Vietnam is still very limited.
HIU's program allocates an intensive English learning path depending on the IELTS entry level, thereby ensuring that students can study 120 credits in 3.5 - 4 years.

Graduates of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in English have the opportunity to work at multinational companies and carry out foreign projects with teachers.
In particular, you will be introduced to continue studying the Master's program at affiliated schools in Taiwan (China), Thailand, etc.
In addition to teaching, HIU strengthens business connections through internships and training at Mekong Logistics, Nam Van Logistics, Ajinomoto, Cat Lai Port, etc.; organizes the HIU Logistics Talent academic competition, seminars, helping students hone their professional skills and expand their network of relationships.
The implementation of the logistics training program in English is expected to contribute to meeting the demand for high-quality human resources and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnam's logistics industry in the context of deep integration.
