Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education has just announced information on regular university enrollment in 2025 with 5 expected methods, including early admission with 2 different methods.

The school has not yet announced its enrollment targets for 2025.

Accepting early admission applications from April 1

Admission methods applied by the school in the 2025 admission season include:

Early admission (including 2 methods):

+ Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministryof Education and Training.

+ Priority is given to candidates from high schools that have signed cooperation agreements.

For the two early admission methods above, the school accepts applications from April 1 to May 30 online on the school's admissions page.

Admission according to the general schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training (including 3 methods):

+ Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; based on the subject combinations for admission of each major.

+ Consider high school transcripts, graduating in 2025 based on the average score of 6 semesters of each subject according to the combination (there are 3 subjects).

+ Consider candidates based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam.

While the Ministry of Education and Training has yet to issue official university admission regulations, it is still unknown whether universities will be able to continue early admissions in 2025 as they have done every year.

In 2025, the school plans to open 6 new majors : nutrition and food science ; resource and environmental management (specializing in environment and sustainable development); financial technology; business administration; engineering physics (oriented towards semiconductor technology and sensors, measurement); communication technology (digital communications and multimedia technology).

At the same time, it is expected to enroll and train 12 majors at the Binh Phuoc province branch in 2025.

Sharply reduce admission methods

In the 2024 enrollment season, the school will recruit according to the following methods:

1. Direct admission according to admission regulations.

2. Priority is given to admission of high school graduates in 2024 according to 4 different subjects and methods: students with 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes at the provincial level, consolation prizes for excellent students at the national level or 4th prizes in national science and technology competitions; excellent students at specialized schools, top 200; international SAT scores; students recommended by the school's board of directors.

3. Admission based on high school transcripts in 3 years 2022, 2023 and 2024.

4. Consider the assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

5. Consider 2024 high school graduation exam scores.

Organize aptitude tests to recruit 4 majors

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education also announced the organization of aptitude tests to select candidates for four majors: fashion design, graphic design, architecture, and interior architecture.

The school accepts applications for the aptitude test from April 1 to May 30 online on the school's admissions page.
