On the morning of June 1, Cuu Long University coordinated with the 196th Submarine Regiment of the Navy (Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province) to organize a conference to disseminate information about the sea and islands to nearly 400 Vietnamese cadres, lecturers, experts, employees and students studying at the school.

Attending the conference, on behalf of the 196th Navy Submarine Regiment, there were Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Duong, Party Secretary, Political Commissar; Lieutenant Colonel Doan Chi Dung, Deputy Regiment Commander.
On the side of Cuu Long University, there were Dr. Dang Thi Ngoc Lan, Vice Principal; leaders of affiliated units.
At the conference, delegates listened to the reporter present the contents on the position, role and importance of Vietnam's seas and islands in the cause of national construction and protection; and the current situation in our country's seas.
