Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema organizes training on artificial intelligence applications

VHO - Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema conducts AI training to help lecturers use new tools, promote creativity and digital transformation in the 2025-2030 period.

On November 21, Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema organized a training session and disseminated the necessity of applying artificial intelligence (AI) in management, teaching, communication and artistic creation for lecturers, staff, employees and representatives of units throughout the school.

In his opening speech, Dr. Pham Huy Quang - Acting Principal of the School emphasized that the use of AI is extremely necessary in administrative work, training, testing, as well as being a powerful tool for scientific research and artistic creation.

Dr. Pham Huy Quang said that in the coming time, the School will deploy more specialized topics, suitable to the needs of each unit, opening up a strategic orientation for digital transformation in the period 2025-2030.

The training program consists of three main parts. The first part introduces an overview of artificial intelligence and AI application trends in art, cinema, theater and media, and analyzes the impact of AI on film editing, sound, stage design, media optimization and training management.

The second part guides the use of AI tools to support teaching and creativity, including Google AI Studio, Canva AI, Gamma, n8n, AppScript, RunwayML, NotebookLM, and AI applications to support testing, data analysis, and lesson design.

In addition, there will be discussions and experience sharing between lecturers and experts on applying AI in the classroom, creating artistic content, digital media, digital storage and optimizing administrative processes...

The atmosphere of the training session was exciting and open, reflecting the great need for digital transformation in departments such as directing, acting, filming, media - event organization and film engineering...

The training session contributed to raising awareness of the role of AI in art education , supporting lecturers in accessing new tools, creating a bridge to share experiences with technology experts and preparing human resources for the School's digital transformation plan for the period 2025-2030.

This is also the opening activity for a series of programs to improve technological capacity, aiming at a modern art training environment, keeping up with international trends.
