Lam Dong: Postponing the organization of the Gong Club Festival

On November 21, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province said that the plan to organize the first Lam Dong Gong Club Festival in 2025 will be postponed due to weather factors.

Accordingly, the reason for the postponement is due to unfavorable weather conditions. The province is currently experiencing heavy rain and widespread flooding. Local units are focusing on natural disaster and flood prevention.

The postponement is due to complicated local weather conditions.

Therefore, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the postponement of the Lam Dong Province Gong Club Festival and will organize it at an appropriate time.

Previously, according to the plan, the Festival would be held from November 22 to 24 at the Traditional House of N'Jrieng residential group, Dong Gia Nghia ward with the theme "Colors converge and spread".

The main programs and activities will be held mainly on the 23rd and 24th, including: Opening and closing ceremonies; Mass art festival and traditional ethnic costume performance; Performance and introduction of festival excerpts and traditional cultural rituals in the locality; Traditional food processing contest; Exhibition, introduction and promotion of local traditional culture.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 - November 23, 2025), and at the same time an opportunity to promote the image of nature, people and unique tourist attractions of the locality to domestic and foreign tourists.

In addition, this festival is also a part of the overall Southeast Asian Gong Festival that Lam Dong province has planned to organize. Through this festival, the locality will select excellent teams to participate in the Gong Night which will take place on December 20.
