Posthumously awarding the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to martyr Tran Trung Hieu

This morning, Ha Tinh Police coordinated with Nghi Xuan District People's Committee to organize a ceremony to announce the Decision of the President and Prime Minister to posthumously award the "Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal" and the "Fatherland's Gratitude" certificate to martyr Tran Trung Hieu. Attending were comrade Le Ngoc Chau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Martyr Tran Trung Hieu, born January 16, 1993, in Tien Dien town, Nghi Xuan district.

On November 13, 2023, while on duty to ensure security and order at Cho Cui Temple, Xuan Hong Commune, Nghi Xuan District, he discovered a subject illegally buying and selling drugs. While approaching and arresting the subject, he was seriously stabbed and died on November 17, 2023.

Martyr Tran Trung Hieu (January 16, 1993 - November 17, 2023)

In recognition of his contributions, on February 2, 2024,the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam issued a decision to posthumously award the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal and on June 14, 2024, the Prime Minister issued a decision to grant the "Fatherland's Gratitude" certificate to Captain Tran Trung Hieu.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau awarded the "Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal" and the "Fatherland's Gratitude" certificate to the relatives of martyr Tran Trung Hieu.

At the ceremony, comrade Le Ngoc Chau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded the "Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal" and the "Fatherland's Gratitude" certificate to the relatives of martyr Tran Trung Hieu./.
