Bui Tien Dung plays brilliantly, Da Nang escapes danger

Da Nang Club avoided a defeat at Ha Tinh Stadium when they equalized 2-2 with the brilliance of goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung in round 25 of V-League 2024-2025.

Midfielder Nguyen Trong Hoang opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a volley that went through the "forest of legs" of Da Nang's defense. Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung was blindsided so he couldn't predict the direction of the ball.

In the 45th minute, Trong Hoang once again became the enemy team's nightmare. He quickly got down and then created a pass for Viktor Le to run in and cushion the ball, raising the score to 2-0.

It seemed like the match was decided after the first half, but the next 45 minutes were interesting. In the 57th minute, Phan Van Long's dangerous shot left goalkeeper Thanh Tung unable to stop the ball on the goal line.

In the 70th minute, Emerson Souza kicked the ball very hard to equalize 2-2 for Da Nang Club. The unbelievable scenario happened because Ha Tinh Club proactively withdrew key players when they were leading the score.

The victory would have stayed at Ha Tinh Stadium if Da Nang goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung had not played brilliantly. He successfully blocked 2 situations against the opponent to keep 1 point.

Notably, in these two situations, Pham Van Long and Geovane Magno were both unable to beat Bui Tien Dung. The goalkeeper from Thanh Hoa became the hero of Da Nang Club.

With 1 point against Ha Tinh Club, Da Nang Club escaped the bottom position of the table where they would have been relegated. Da Nang has 22 points, pushing Quy Nhon Binh Dinh to the bottom with 21 points.
