Mr. Nguyen Cong Truong, the company's director, said that the unit's entire production process is digitized, with all data entered into the traceability software integrated into the system.
Since being supported to implement the traceability system, the company's products have become more widely known to consumers, who trust the quality of the products. Publicizing traceability information also helps reduce the risk of counterfeiting and imitation of the company's goods.
“When QR codes are not yet standardized, lack a mechanism for interconnection between systems, and lack close supervision from authorities, the risk of losing consumer trust is real. This is also a loophole for counterfeit and poor quality goods to infiltrate the market,” said Mr. Truong.

Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Tien, Director of GOREDE Joint Stock Company (Gia Nghia) informed that by applying technology to record electronic production logs in real time, the company can manage the entire supply chain in a transparent and accurate manner. Thereby, contributing to affirming the quality and origin of the products.
Because currently, in the process of producing agricultural products according to organic standards, manual recording increases the risk of errors, making it easy to be exploited to falsify records, distorting production reality. This directly affects the transparency and reliability of the product.

Experts say that although there are currently no regulations requiring businesses to implement traceability, once implemented, businesses must be responsible for fully complying with the national standards on traceability that have been issued. Any act of providing false or incomplete information can be considered a fraudulent act towards consumers.
Dak Nong Department of Science and Technology has built a product traceability management system and handed over management accounts to 3 agencies by sector and field and 8 districts and cities in the province. The unit has granted accounts to 17 establishments; supported 35 enterprises, with 145,000 traceability stamps...
Inevitable trend
In the context of deep integration, the requirement for transparent product information is becoming increasingly urgent. For Dak Nong , the application of traceability is increasingly focused.

Director of Dak Nong Department of Science and Technology Hoang Van Thuan said that the province's product traceability management system is a centralized digital platform.
This allows consumers, businesses and regulatory agencies to access and check detailed information about the origin, production and distribution process of a specific product.
The platform acts as a bridge between participants in the supply chain, ensuring transparency and reliability of product information.
For businesses, it is also easy to publish and manage product information, improving the competitiveness of businesses. Because goods with clear traceability information will be easily accepted in the markets.

Therefore, businesses need to declare information about the supply chain (growing areas, raw materials, production processes, shipments, etc.) on this system so that parties can monitor and assign responsibility when incidents occur. Once declared on the system, businesses will be responsible before the law and forced to comply with the published information.
The system also helps consumers easily check the origin of products using QR codes. Thereby, increasing trust in products, especially food, pharmaceutical and consumer goods.
According to the Department of Science and Technology of Dak Nong, in recent times, the productivity and quality movement of Dak Nong has continued to be promoted. Up to now, the unit has organized 12 conferences and training sessions; conducted 2 rounds of surveys, assessments, consultations, and mobilized businesses to participate in productivity and quality projects.

The Department also supported 2 enterprises to participate in the productivity and quality project, with a total amount of 60 million VND. At the same time, it organized a survey and promoted information about productivity and quality for 27 establishments in the province.
Implementing Resolution No. 57/NQ-TW of the Politburo, authorities and businesses will have to apply technology to digitally transform the supply chain, applying digital technology to every stage from production, warehousing, transportation to distribution.
The Ministry of Science and Technology is currently drafting a Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Product and Goods Quality. It pays attention to regulations on barcodes for products and goods. When regulations on traceability become mandatory, consumer rights will be better protected against counterfeit and poor quality goods.
