From May 16: Traffic reorganization on Thang Long Avenue, what should people pay attention to?

According to information from the Hanoi Department of Construction, from May 16, 2025 to May 31, 2026, the unit will reorganize traffic on Thang Long Avenue to serve the construction of a different intersection project with Ring Road 3.5.

Accordingly, the Hanoi Department of Construction has adjusted the traffic speed to gradually reduce to 60km/h when passing through the project construction area.

Vehicles are allowed to travel on the emergency lane of the highway at a speed of 60km/h. From Le Van Huan Street to the right side of Thang Long Boulevard: Vehicles are prohibited from traveling from Le Van Huan Street to the right side of Thang Long Boulevard (from the barrier to the frontage road).

Adjust traffic organization for vehicles traveling from Le Van Huan - resettlement internal road (next to road 3.5) - road through Splendora urban area - An Khanh overpass intersection - Thang Long Boulevard service road. For the service road on the left of Thang Long Boulevard, Hanoi Department of Construction prohibits vehicles from traveling on the service road on the left of Thang Long Boulevard from Km 8+220 - Km8+515.

Adjust traffic organization for vehicles from the left side of Thang Long Avenue to Ha Dong or the center of Hanoi in the following directions: Turn right onto An Khanh Street, at Km 9+500 (An Khanh overpass) - Nam An Khanh Street - Thien Phuc - Hoang Tung intersection - Hoang Tung Street to go to Ha Dong; or go straight on Thien Phuc Street - Coc Bridge overpass - the left side of Thang Long Avenue - go to the center of Hanoi.

From Thang Long Boulevard, turn right onto Golden An Khanh Street (Km 8+960) - Nam An Khanh Street - Thien Phuc - Hoang Tung intersection - follow Hoang Tung Street to Ha Dong or follow Thien Phuc Street to the center of Hanoi.

Remote traffic diversion plan: Vehicles from the left-hand side road going to the center of Hanoi change direction to enter the expressway lane via the entrance at Km10+290.

Close underpass No. 3 on Thang Long Avenue. Vehicles from the right service road wanting to go to the left service road must go through An Khanh overpass to the left service road and vice versa.

At underpass No. 4 in the direction: Motorbikes can travel in two directions, cars can only move from the left to the right service road.

At Hoang Tung Street: Prohibit vehicles from circulating on the two main roads of Hoang Tung Street from the Thang Long Boulevard to 30m from the Hoang Tung - Thien Phuc - Nam An Khanh intersection. Prohibit container trucks from turning left from Hoang Tung Street to Nam An Khanh Street.

Adjust traffic organization for vehicles from Hoang Tung Street to Thang Long Boulevard's service road in the following directions: Hoang Tung - Hoang Tung - Thien Phuc intersection - Hoang Tung Street's service road is 7.5m wide.

Vehicles from Ha Dong (except container trucks) - Hoang Tung - Thien Phuc intersection - turn left onto Nam An Khanh street, An Khanh street to go to Thang Long Boulevard or turn right onto Thien Phuc street, Coc bridge overpass to go to Thang Long Boulevard.

Container trucks from Ha Dong wanting to get on the highway go in the direction of Le Quang Dao extension or through Provincial Road 72 to get on the highway.

For buses on Thang Long Boulevard service road: Adjust direction to enter the highway at Km10+290 and exit to the service road at the exit at Km6+900.
