Proud and sacred Flag Raising Ceremony to celebrate Independence Day 2024

(BLC) - On the morning of September 2, in the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating National Day and Independence Day on September 2, at Than Uyen District Stadium, the Provincial Independence Day Organizing Committee 2024 held a Flag Raising Ceremony. This is one of the sacred and meaningful activities of Independence Day that Than Uyen District has maintained and organized for many years.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Ha Trong Hai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Independence Day 2024; comrades in the Organizing Committee; representatives of the leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and mass organizations of the province; Lai Chau Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station; former leaders of the province and Than Uyen district through the periods; leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, specialized departments of Than Uyen district and more than 1,200 cadres, soldiers, armed forces, civil servants, public employees, workers, youth, students and people of Than Uyen district.

More than 1,200 officials, civil servants, public employees, union members, students and people of Than Uyen district attended the Flag Raising Ceremony.

The Flag Raising Ceremony aims to honor the national flag; to express the sincere gratitude and infinite gratitude of the cadres, soldiers, and people of all ethnic groups in Than Uyen district in particular and Lai Chau province in general for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and the previous generations who did not spare their blood and bones to gain independence, freedom, and peace for the prosperous and happy development of the Fatherland today. At the same time, it shows the pride and absolute trust of the Lai Chau people in the Party and the State, together uniting with one heart, steadfastly and determinedly contributing to building Lai Chau province to develop rapidly and sustainably.

The national flag was raised by the Red Flag team and the Vietnamese National Anthem was sung, expressing pride.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, right after the flag salute, the Vietnamese National Anthem resounded majestically and the national flag was gradually lowered by the soldiers of the Red Flag Team. The flag was raised slowly until the national anthem ended. Under the beautiful weather of the morning of September 2, the national flag fluttered, creating a sacred and proud moment for the people of Lai Chau.

The national flag flutters in the pride of cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in Than Uyen district.

The Flag Raising Ceremony ended with a folk dance performance "One Round of Vietnam" and a dance "Solidarity Dance" performed by 1,200 officials, civil servants, public employees, students and people of Than Uyen district to celebrate Independence Day September 2, 2024.
