Over the years, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Nam Nha Trang Ward) has received close attention and direction from leaders at all levels; the dedication and responsibility of the management staff and teachers; the support of parents, alumni and the efforts of generations of students. All share the same pride and expectation that Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted will continue to be a place to nurture knowledge and help dreams come true for outstanding students.

Over 40 years of construction and development, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted has always played a key role in discovering, training and nurturing gifted and excellent students; it is a training facility for talented and high-quality human resources for the province. The school's key educational quality has been constantly improved and has continuously achieved very impressive numbers. I highly appreciate the efforts and achievements that the school has achieved in recent times. With its outstanding achievements, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted has affirmed its brand as the "cradle" of training high-quality human resources, the "incubator" of young talents of the province and the country.

Along with the whole country, Khanh Hoa province is entering an era of national development with great aspirations. To do that, it requires high determination, great efforts, drastic and effective actions from all levels, sectors, the entire political system and all classes of people in the province; in which, it requires the Education and Training sector, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted to do well in the task of training human resources, nurturing talents, and fully preparing the young generation to stand firm in the face of new challenges.

In the excitement and pride of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the school's founding, I propose that the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, teachers and students of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted continue to improve the quality of comprehensive education - the decisive and key factor to enhance the prestige and affirm the school's brand. Continue to create strong changes in the quality of key education so that every year there are more students achieving high prizes in national competitions for excellent students, international and regional Olympics. Continuously improve teaching and learning methods in the direction of stimulating students' creative thinking, creating the best conditions for students to study, practice, develop their intelligence and talents to serve their homeland, country and become global citizens.

The province always considers investment in education as investment for the future. Therefore, in the coming time, the province will continue to create the best conditions for the school to develop to its full potential, becoming a leading educational model, contributing significantly to the strategy of improving the quality of human resources - a key factor for Khanh Hoa to make a breakthrough in the new development stage.

* Ms. Vo Nguyen Truc Mai - English teacher at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted:

As a teacher who has been attached to this school for the past 29 years, I feel extremely proud and moved. Teaching at a specialized school in the province, each teacher not only imparts knowledge but also has to be the one to unlock potential, discover talents, nurture personality and inspire many generations of students. Over the past 4 decades, veteran teachers have been working hard on the podium, keeping the flame of their profession alive; young teachers with a passion for innovation and creativity are continuing and developing the sustainable values that have been built. The excellent student competitions are not simply a competition of knowledge, but also a time when teachers and students stand side by side, overcoming pressure to realize their dreams and complete the core tasks of the school. What makes us most proud is not just the scores or awards, but the students who have matured, lived decent lives, become useful citizens, contributing to the province and the country. You are a testament to the dedication that the school's teaching staff has constantly nurtured.

* Dr. Dang Duy Thanh - Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa General Hospital, former student majoring in Mathematics at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted:

I was one of the first batch of students to study at the school. At that time, entering a specialized school was a joy and pride. Along with that was a lot of pressure when there were many diligent, intelligent and excellent students around, including those with very difficult circumstances. That is one of the reasons why I joined the Executive Board of the Le Quy Don Scholarship Fund from 2014 to present to help poor students overcome difficulties. In addition, generations of former students of the school have also established many groups to support each other, support teachers, staff and students of the school, gradually laying the foundation to build a humane and useful community. Hopefully, the next generation of students of the school will also join hands with those activities.

* Mr. Tran Doan Hung - parent of a grade 11 student at the school:

During the more than 2 years my child has been studying at the school, I and other parents have had the opportunity to participate in a number of activities with my child and feel that this is a very good educational environment. The school always prepares carefully and creates conditions for students to participate in academic competitions to consolidate and improve their knowledge, and expand their interactions with peers. In addition, the school organizes rich and useful playgrounds, diverse cultural and artistic activities, contributing to the comprehensive development of students. I am very grateful to the teachers and satisfied with the learning environment here, and honored to accompany the school in the activities.

I am very proud to be a student of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, a school with a rich tradition of studiousness and a long history of achievements. My seniors have inspired and encouraged me in my studies and in my participation in competitions. The results I have achieved are an honor and also a motivation for me to try harder. Today's generation of students hopes to contribute a small part to continue writing the brilliant achievements of the school.
