Many abandoned rice fields have been planted by people in Quang Phuc commune (Tu Ky) using transplanters to speed up progress.

The communes with large areas of renovation are: Quang Phuc (20ha), Minh Duc (20ha), Quang Trung (12.5ha). In these fields, people mainly grow Japanese and Q5 glutinous rice varieties.

In some localities, the Agricultural Service Cooperatives use machines to transplant rice in previously abandoned fields. Minh Duc Commune Agricultural Service Cooperative in collaboration with Duc Minh Seed Trade Development Company Limited ( Hai Duong City) has for the first time implemented a model of rice cultivation for commodity production with product consumption, in which many areas of consumption are transplanted on previously abandoned fields.

By February 19, the entire Tu Ky district had planted 5,000 hectares of winter-spring rice, reaching 75.2% of the total area.
