PREPARE YOURSELF WITH A STRONG MINDSET
Present at Kim Hong Junior High School (Cao Lanh ward) on May 18, 2026, despite the approaching exam, teachers were still focusing their efforts on reviewing with 9th-grade students.

In class 9A7, the English teacher guided the students in reviewing key concepts, revisiting previously solved exercises, and teaching them tips for memorizing the material.
Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc Nga, Deputy Head of the Foreign Language Department at Kim Hong Secondary School, said: "At this time, students are under a lot of pressure before the exam, so teachers are focusing on reviewing and consolidating knowledge while also encouraging them."
For English, the reading comprehension section requires students to have a certain vocabulary to understand the content and answer the questions well. Therefore, I focus on guiding them to review vocabulary, grammar, and practice their test-taking skills.
In addition, I also reminded students to arrange their study time appropriately, get enough rest to revise effectively, and maintain good health before the exam.”
Dinh Gia Tu, a student in class 9A7 at Kim Hong Secondary School, said: “In the days leading up to the exam, I focused on reviewing the types of questions that my teachers had taught in class.”
For Literature, I review the works I've studied, practice my essay writing skills, and read up on current events to supplement my practical knowledge for use in assignments.

For Math and English, I focused on reviewing formulas, memorizing test-taking tips, and practicing more exercises. Thanks to the support and encouragement from my teachers, I also reduced the pressure and stress during the final preparation period and now feel quite confident and ready for the upcoming exam.”
Nguyen Le Xuan My, a student in class 9A5 at Kim Hong Secondary School, shared: “I aspire to enter the 10th grade specialized English class at Nguyen Quang Dieu Specialized High School.”
To achieve this goal, I proactively reviewed the material from the beginning of the school year and entered a period of intensive review from the end of the second semester until now.
The teachers helped review key concepts, guided students in familiarizing themselves with question types based on the exam structure of previous years, and honed their multiple-choice test-taking skills.
Currently, the in-class review is basically complete, but I'm still taking advantage of the last few days to consolidate my knowledge and prepare as best as I can for the exam. I have high expectations and am confident that I will do well on the exam to fulfill my dream of getting into a specialized high school.”
