Opening of cultural tourism week to celebrate 120 years of Sa Pa tourism
The opening ceremony of the cultural week will take place at 8:00 p.m. on September 20 at the Sa Pa Town Central Stadium. In addition to the award ceremony, awarding and honoring, visitors will have the opportunity to attend an extremely special festival. Among them is the live show "Dance under the Moon" introducing the unique folk dances of Sa Pa's ethnic minorities. In addition, the Xuan Vien flower garden will also organize the show "Reunion", recreating the cultural space of the Market and Sa Pa Love Market for visitors to visit and learn.

Performances "Rendezvous" and "Dance under the Moon"
From September 20 to September 24, the town's central courtyard and Xuan Vien flower garden will be the main venue for colorful community cultural activities of the ethnic groups living here. In particular, two plays, "The Rendezvous" and "Dance under the Moon", will be performed on the evenings of September 20, 21 and 23 to introduce visitors to the unique folk dances of Sa Pa's ethnic minorities.
The two shows are elaborately staged by famous directors and artists and, most importantly, performed by the local people: Mong, Dao, Tay, Giay, Xa Pho living in Sa Pa. In particular, the show is combined with a stage set inspired by nature and life, combined with modern sound and light, promising to bring many unforgettable emotions. Throughout the program, visitors will join the local people on a train through space and time, exploring the beauty of nature, labor, production and the long-standing cultural values of "the meeting place of heaven and earth" Sa Pa.

The 120th anniversary of Sa Pa tourism will be held at 7:30 p.m. on September 23 at Sa Pa town stadium. During the ceremony, visitors will watch the documentary "Mysteries of Sa Pa", watch the solemn 120th anniversary ceremony and watch impressive and unique highland cultural art performances. From 9:45 p.m. to 10 p.m., the most anticipated performance for visitors will be low-altitude fireworks to celebrate the anniversary. Although it is no longer a strange experience for every visitor, in the cold air of Sa Pa town, watching the fireworks display in the night sky with loved ones and friends will make the trip more meaningful and complete.

Sa Pa Full Moon Festival
A trip to Sa Pa with your family on the Mid-Autumn Festival will be a more cozy and interesting reunion than ever. Especially if you love the vibrant lantern procession with giant lanterns, Sa Pa will be the ideal destination. Sa Pa's "Full Moon Festival" was once considered the biggest Mid-Autumn Festival in the Northwest and this year will be held on September 29 (August 15 of the lunar calendar).
On this occasion, schools, residential groups, and businesses in the area have joined the competition to make giant Mid-Autumn lantern models, inspired by the natural scenery and people of the Northwest. In response to the 120th anniversary of Sa Pa tourism, Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area has continuously added new tourism products to enhance the experience for visitors when coming to the "town in the mist". From now until December 31, 2023, Sun World Fansipan Legend also applies a special ticket price policy exclusively for monks and Buddhists when visiting the tourist area. Accordingly, monks and nuns with a monk or nun certificate or a certificate of ordination/abbot card or verification documents from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and foreign religious establishments will be exempt from cable car tickets. Venerables, Most Venerables, Most Venerable Nuns, and Nuns are exempt from all Muong Hoa train and mountain train tickets. Monks and nuns of the remaining ranks using the Muong Hoa train and mountain train services will have a ticket price of 100,000 VND/person.
For Buddhists with a certificate of taking refuge in the Three Jewels, the ticket price will be reduced to 500,000 VND/adult, 300,000 VND/child when attending events at the tourist area. When visiting as an individual, the ticket price is reduced to 680,000 VND/adult and 480,000 VND/child.
