Besides the main task of accumulating knowledge and professional skills, Pham Thao Trang's student life became even more memorable when she had emotional performances.

Step out of your comfort zone

Pham Thao Trang is a sophomore at Hoa Sen University (HSU). Before, she never thought she could confidently stand on stage and dance in front of thousands of people. To overcome her shyness and step out of her comfort zone, Trang decided to join HSU's Bound Crushers Dance Company.

Thao Trang has more joy when discovering her passion for dancing

Trang confided: "At first, I was a poor dancer and there were times when I wanted to give up. However, the club has many ways to support and inspire members, and with my determination, I have improved and truly committed to this passion."

"Burning" yourself out in dance helps many young people become more active and improve their health, releasing stress, so this is the choice of many Gen Zs. According to Trang, during the dance process, the brain is also trained when having to remember many movements in a short period of time. Trang is very active and tries hard in every choice she makes. This girl born in 2003 received the "Golden Lotus Excellence" scholarship from HSU. The short film "Cầu duyên" that she participated in producing also received the "Best short script" award at school.

Currently, Trang is interning as a production assistant at a media company. According to her, if you know how to organize your time and allocate your energy properly, young people can participate in many diverse activities every day.

Nguyen Thai Duong, a student at Saigon College of Tourism , is proud of his progressive nature and his will to constantly strive to always excellently achieve his goals.

Thai Duong believes that young people must dare to dream, dare to think, dare to do because "if you don't try, you won't know what you can do."

Duong is currently the Deputy Head of the Planning Board of the Student Volunteer Club of the school, making practical contributions to a series of community events over the past time. Duong is fond of the saying "No one drowns in their own sweat" and often follows the journey of outstanding role models to draw lessons for himself.

Breakthrough and grow up

Although pursuing a career in tourism, Nguyen Thai Duong boldly tried his hand at art when he transformed into the character Hai Ngọt in the play "Hai Ngọt's Story" and Ut Tu in the musical "Boarding Quarters" staged by students of Saigon College of Tourism. Through these roles, Duong was increasingly loved by teachers and friends.

Duong also excelled in the top 5 of the "Mekong Delta Media Ambassador 2022" contest organized by An Giang province in collaboration with many units; won the championship of the "Journey to the Finish Line - Connect and Shine" contest at school. Duong's next milestone is the upcoming "ASEAN Cultural Ambassador 2023" contest.

Working at full capacity and achieving many successes, Duong expressed: "Youth is the golden time to test yourself with outside activities. When facing new challenges, we need to be flexible and willing to upgrade ourselves."

Tran Phuong Thao, a student at the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City (UEF), believes that the typical desire of many Gen Z students is to explore new things and expand their limits, and she is no exception. Thao has "pocketed" countless awards at school in speaking and hosting competitions.

Tran Phuong Thao is more confident and mature when equipped with the ability to speak attractively in front of many people.

Thao is on the board of directors of two clubs with a large number of members, Mic Zone and Reception & Model. She is very enthusiastic in supporting her friends and new students in many activities. Thao has held the microphone for many events and always understands that she needs to learn more to confidently convey her message.

"The things I say, if they are not based on real experience and knowledge, can easily become empty. I don't want to talk about things that are too big when I don't have enough intellectual strength to keep those words" - Thao confided. She studied seriously, continuously maintained her scholarship at UEF and completed her university training program in just 3 years.

The common point of view of these 20-year-olds when they strive hard is not because of pressure from their peers or the goal of having to shine with titles. They are truly happy and believe that opportunities outside of books and the classroom will give them more stepping stones to enrich their inner strength, creating a foundation for solid development in the future.
