Youth of Con Co special economic zone: Promoting youth to protect green, clean and beautiful marine environment

QTO - On October 21, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Con Co Special Zone held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

During the term, the Youth Union of the special zone implemented two youth projects: "Youth Bougainvillea Trellis" and "Youth Flower Street" with a total value of over 120 million VND.

Coordinate with units on the mainland to implement youth projects on the island such as: Light on the green island; Youth flower street; outdoor sports field... with a total value of nearly 200 million VND.

The grassroots Youth Union organizations actively undertake youth projects and tasks, typically: The Military Youth Union has started to build 3 Youth huts worth more than 100 million VND; 100% of the Youth Union organizations effectively maintain the activities of "Volunteer Saturday" and "Green Sunday", contributing to environmental protection, building a green - clean - beautiful landscape; "Creative Youth" attracts a large number of union members and young people to participate.

With the motto of action: "Pioneer - Solidarity - Courage - Breakthrough - Development", in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Con Co special zone has identified and set out specific goals, targets, tasks and solutions in the work of the union and the youth movement.

In particular, the Special Zone Youth Union deployed 1 to 2 Youth projects; 100% of Youth Union members of grassroots Youth Union organizations responded and implemented well the movement against plastic waste, using environmentally friendly materials; launched the planting and care of at least 1,000 trees... contributing to creating a green appearance for the island to promote tourism and socio -economic development of the locality.

At the congress, comrade Ha Tien Nam was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Con Co special zone, term 2025 - 2030.
