Dien Bien youth light candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs

Dien Bien TV - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, on the evening of April 28, the Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union held an incense offering and candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the A1 National Martyrs Cemetery. Attending the ceremony were the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and nearly 200 union members and youth.

The delegation came to offer incense and lay wreaths in memory of heroic martyrs at A1 National Martyrs Cemetery.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates, union members and youths laid wreaths and offered incense at the Memorial; and lit candles and offered incense at the martyrs' graves.

This is a humane act, showing the gratitude of the young generation to the nation's outstanding children who heroically fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

Before the heroic martyrs, the youth of Dien Bien vow to promote the heroic Dien Bien Phu tradition, follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers, and follow the path chosen by the Party and beloved Uncle Ho.

All graves at the A1 National Martyrs Cemetery are lit by candles to show the gratitude of the young generation to those who fell for the independence and freedom of the nation.

The candle of gratitude will continue to spread, light up the spirit of patriotism, foster revolutionary ideals and aspirations for dedication, so that the young generation of Dien Bien province can strive to study, practice, strive, and build their homeland and develop the country./.
