Opening the Seminar, Acting Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Minh Duc said that in recent times, the youth of the Youth Unions in the Bloc have always received close guidance from the Party Committees of the units, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc and the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Central Agencies Bloc so that the youth union members in the Bloc can promote their talents and youth strength to implement many programs and activities, projects and youth works contributing to preserving and promoting the customs, traditions and cultural heritages of the ethnic groups.
The Photo Exhibition and Discussion Program with the theme "Youth of Central Agencies preserve and promote the value of intangible cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups" was organized with the desire to propagate and raise awareness among young people about the beauty of traditional culture of ethnic groups, especially intangible cultural heritages, thereby enhancing solidarity, consolidating pride, awareness and responsibility of each citizen and especially the young generation in preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic minorities.
“This is an opportunity for the youth union members in the Bloc to share and learn traditional culture from village elders, excellent artisans, ethnic minorities and experience many interesting cultural activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village”, Acting Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Minh Duc emphasized.
Speaking and exchanging at the Seminar, Meritorious Artist Y Sinh, Xo Dang ethnic group, currently working at Xo Dang ethnic village, Ethnic Village Area, Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, expressed his joy and emotion when meeting enthusiastic youth union members from the Central Agencies to participate in discussions, sharing, learning, and exchanging on a very meaningful and practical topic to celebrate the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day on April 19.
Meritorious Artist Y Sinh expressed that the young generation and youth are always the vanguard force leading all movements and fields, including the preservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage values of ethnic groups; this is also a top priority issue today and requires the cooperation of young people. You are the future owners of the country, the generation with knowledge, enthusiasm, and the fastest updates on modern scientific and technological advances will spread the love for traditional national culture to all people in the country and internationally.
Emphasizing the role of the youth of the Ethnic Committee in preserving and promoting the national cultural identity, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ethnic Committee Dinh Thi Phuc said that the Youth Union of the Ethnic Committee will continue to unite, be unanimous, devote its youth, constantly be creative, have high determination, and make small contributions to the cause of ethnic work in general, and to preserving and promoting the national cultural identity in particular.
“Sharing the same mission of preserving and promoting the national cultural identity, each young person must make every effort, always learn and study the traditional cultural values of the nation; fight against hostile forces that deliberately distort the good values of Vietnamese culture, contributing to preserving and developing national cultural values in the new era,” emphasized Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ethnic Committee Dinh Thi Phuc.
