Kim Son Youth Many Impressions in Youth Month

Responding to Youth Month 2024, Kim Son District Youth Union has organized many meaningful youth activities and projects, demonstrating the pioneering role of youth, contributing to the socio -economic development of the locality.

Recently, the Youth Union of Hoi Ninh commune inaugurated and handed over the "Lighting up the countryside road" project in hamlet 8. The road is 1 km long, with an investment cost of nearly 17 million VND, which was mobilized by the Youth Union of the commune to support. After a period of implementation, with the enthusiastic response of the people, the "Lighting up the countryside road" project was completed, put into use and brought about practical results.

Mr. Pham Van Ty, a resident of Hamlet 8, excitedly shared: "We are very happy that the Commune Youth Union cooperated with benefactors to support the construction of a project to light up the countryside roads to help people travel more conveniently, while contributing to limiting social evils and traffic accidents."

Comrade Vu Van Ninh, Secretary of the Hoi Ninh Commune Youth Union, said: Along with the project "Lighting up the countryside", during the Youth Month, the Hoi Ninh Commune Youth Union also planted and took care of a youth tree road, organized activities "Green Saturday, Clean Sunday", responded to the "Green Sunday" campaign, organized garbage collection on rivers flowing through the commune, and installed a sports facility. In addition, the Standing Committee of the Commune Youth Union organized for youth union members to learn and visit effective economic development models such as raising loach, raising frogs... to apply and replicate.

Kim Son Youth Many meaningful activities in response to Youth Month — Dong Huong Commune Youth Union presented the project "Public wifi point and digital library" in hamlet 1.

Sharing about the activities in response to Youth Month, comrade Le Thi Lua, Secretary of Kim Son District Youth Union said: With the theme "Kim Son Youth volunteering for community life", in Youth Month, the District Youth Union organizes 5 main task groups and 10 basic targets, orienting many practical youth contents, projects and tasks. In which, organizing peak action days such as: Volunteering to join hands to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas; Green Sunday; Happy and healthy Children's Festival, step up to the Youth Union, Youth Union Member Day. At the same time, continue to replicate the models: Public wifi points and Digital libraries, Youth tree rows, Lighting up the countryside roads... along with social security activities, caring for team members, union members, youth and vulnerable groups in the district.

Just counting the "Peak Day of Volunteering to Build New Rural Areas" and "Green Sunday" which were simultaneously organized at all levels of the Youth Union from district to grassroots on March 17, 2024, there were 30 youth projects and tasks, attracting the participation of more than 500 union members and young people; the total benefit value was nearly 200 million VND.

In particular, the District Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union organized the launching of the Youth Union Branch and Association of An Phu Food Production and Distribution Company Limited with 7 members and members directly under the Kim Chinh Commune Youth Union - Association; organized incense offering and environmental sanitation at the district's Martyrs' Cemetery; propagated, supported and encouraged young people to register for OCOP products in 2024; built the project "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - civilized - safe road" in Lai Thanh commune; deployed models to create green tree sources such as "Youth Nursery", "Livelihood Tree Garden"...; launched tree planting in Thuong Kiem, Chat Binh, Hung Tien; built the model "Traffic safety school gate"; presented the project "Public wifi point and digital library"...

Along with that, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the district have organized cultural, artistic and sports activities to accompany the youth in physical development and improve their cultural and spiritual life. Implementing the campaign "Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers", promoting cadres, union members and people to hang maps of Vietnam at the workplaces and study places of Youth Union, Association and Team cadres, community activities, and cultural houses in the hamlets, contributing to spreading patriotism and pride in the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country in every Vietnamese person. The grassroots Youth Union has simultaneously launched environmental sanitation campaigns: cleaning cemeteries, memorials, office premises, village roads and alleys...

The enthusiastic atmosphere from the first days of Youth Month 2024 has been spreading widely and strongly among the cadres, union members and youth of Kim Son district. Thereby, it has left a good impression in the community about the green volunteer shirt, the pioneering spirit, not "afraid of difficulties, afraid of hardships" of the youth of the whole district, contributing to building the homeland to become more and more prosperous, civilized and modern.

In the coming time, Kim Son Youth Union at all levels will continue to effectively implement activities and projects during Youth Month. There are two main activities: Organizing a Youth Dance Festival for high school students on March 24 and organizing Youth football tournaments in April to celebrate the 195th anniversary of Kim Son district's establishment.
