Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union supports Nghe An people with 1.5 billion VND after storm No. 10

This is the amount of money that Ho Chi Minh City youth raised after the charity music night for the flood-hit areas of the Central region.

Sharing the difficulties with the people in the flooded area of Nghe An , Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union gave 500 gifts, each worth 2 million VND.

For 30 households that suffered heavy damage, with their roofs blown off after the storm, the working group awarded 30 packages, worth 8 million VND each. The group also surveyed and will provide financial support to repair schools damaged by the storm.

The total value of support resources is 1.5 billion VND.

Handing out gifts to people in flooded areas, comrade Le Tuan Anh - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union said that in recent days, when grasping information about the flood situation and damage to people in the Central region in general and Nghe An in particular, the cadres, people and youth of Ho Chi Minh City have been extremely concerned and worried.

To provide timely support to the people, last night (October 6), Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union coordinated with accompanying units to organize a charity music night to support the people in the flood-affected areas of the Central region, including Nghe An.

Immediately after receiving support from union members, youth and people from all walks of life at the music night, the working group went to Nghe An to personally hand over 1.5 billion VND to support the people.

This is the second time this year that the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union delegation has visited the flood-hit people in Nghe An. Last time, after storm No. 3, the Ho Chi Minh City youth also supported the people with 600 million VND to accompany the people after the storm and flood.

The dishes contain the love and sharing of the community and young people from Ho Chi Minh City with the hope of giving more motivation for people to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
