TÜV SÜD opens electrical and electronics testing laboratory in Ho Chi Minh City

The laboratory was built within twelve months and is fully equipped with world- class services, providing comprehensive testing and certification solutions in the electrical and electronic fields, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

TÜV SÜD's Electrical and Electronics Testing Laboratory has just opened in Ho Chi Minh City.

TÜV SÜD Vietnam, a leading company in certification, testing, inspection, and training services and a wholly owned subsidiary of the TÜV SÜD Group (Germany), has opened a modern electrical and electronics testing laboratory in Ho Chi Minh City.

With an area of ^​​330m2 , this laboratory, together with TÜV SÜD's existing ISO 17025-certified laboratories, supports complete consumer product testing services for manufacturers and buyers in Vietnam to meet the certification requirements of export markets.

TÜV SÜD has been meeting the testing, inspection and certification needs of the domestic and export markets for many years thanks to its system of laboratories in Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City. Now with this electrical and electronic testing laboratory, TÜV SÜD will focus on testing lighting, household appliances, information technology equipment, weatherproof products up to IP67 standard and other electrical components. This further strengthens the company's presence in the consumer products market based on its chemical, environmental and performance testing capabilities for a wide range of products.

Thus, together with the textile and footwear, food and chemical industries, the new laboratory will provide more comprehensive support for consumer product testing for retailers and buyers.
