TUY AN: Striving to increase outstanding policy credit growth to 8%

The Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank (SPB) in Tuy An district has just summarized the implementation of tasks in the first quarter of 2025 and deployed key tasks in the coming time.

In the first 3 months of the year, the Tuy An District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office disbursed more than 54 billion VND to 907 borrowers, bringing the total outstanding debt by the end of the first quarter of 2025 to more than 646.5 billion VND, with over 12,700 households still in debt, reaching 97.9% of the plan. Policy credit capital contributes to reducing the poverty rate, creating jobs, supporting many families with capital for livestock production, helping students in difficult circumstances to continue studying, limiting the situation of usury...

In the coming time, the Tuy An District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office strives to increase the outstanding balance of policy credit programs to 8%. The unit also actively collects debt in installments to create revolving loans, meeting people's borrowing needs; collects over 95% of the principal debt due, completing the capital mobilization target; continues to improve the quality of commune transaction point operations; strengthens inspection and supervision to ensure that capital reaches the right subjects, is used for the right purposes, and promotes efficiency...

On this occasion, 15 collectives and 28 individuals with outstanding achievements in social policy credit activities in Tuy An district in the first quarter of 2025 were commended and rewarded.
