On the evening of April 10, the Vietnamese futsal team continued to play a friendly match in the second leg with Saudi Arabia after winning 2-1 in the first leg at Thai Son Nam Stadium in District 8 on April 8.

Compared to the first leg, the starting lineup of the Vietnam futsal team has one change. That is goalkeeper Pham Van Tu replaces Ho Van Y as the main goalkeeper.

With this formation, coach Diego Giustozzi's team created many dangerous opportunities towards the Saudi Arabia goal. However, the strikers of the Vietnamese futsal team could not successfully take advantage of any opportunity to score. Especially Gia Hung.

Like in the 14th minute, Gia Hung's shot missed the post even though goalkeeper Humood Aldahhan had gone overboard. Two minutes later, Gia Hung's penalty kick (10m) was unsuccessful when Saudi Arabia committed the sixth aggregate foul.

Unable to score, the Vietnamese futsal team almost conceded a goal after this situation. Nawaf had a strong attack and shot hard, but goalkeeper Pham Van Tu made an excellent save.

Similar to the first leg, coach Diego Giustozzi's adjustments at halftime helped the Vietnamese futsal team play better and score goals.

Three minutes into the second half, Manh Dung opened the scoring. The goal helped the Vietnamese futsal players play more freely.

But once again, finishing was the problem for the home team. In the 28th minute, Gia Hung rushed in to put the ball in an open area but it went wide of the post. Four minutes later, Minh Quang tapped the ball in from 2m away but could not beat the Saudi Arabia goalkeeper.

In that context, Albdullah Aldossary awkwardly kicked the ball into his own net from Manh Dung's cross, helping the Vietnamese futsal team raise the score to 2-0 in the 33rd minute.

Two minutes before the end of the match, the match was extremely exciting. Within just one minute from the 39th minute, there were 3 goals scored. Nawaf reduced the score to 1-2 then Thai Huy increased the score to 3-1. Immediately, Ahmed scored to reduce the score to 2-3. However, this was also the final result of the match.

According to the schedule, the Vietnamese futsal team will have two more friendly matches with the world's 7th ranked team Kazakhstan on April 13 and 15 at Lanh Binh Thang Stadium and Thai Son Nam Stadium in District 8.
