Tuyen Quang has 5 works entering the final round of the 2025 International Lantern Festival

The model "Eastern Sunlight - Long Quan returns" by Thanh Tuyen Color team entered the final round.

The 2025 Ocean International Lantern Design Competition has the theme "Eastern Light". After the launch, the Organizing Committee has received responses from dozens of teams from China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Surpassing teams from 5 countries in the preliminary round, 5 teams representing Tuyen Quang province participated, including: Thanh Tuyen Color Team, Sac Mau Cuoc Song Team, Quang Minh Tuyen Quang Team, Lung Linh Thanh Tuyen Festival Team and Ms. Duong Thi Nga's team, excellently entered the final round.

The models of Tuyen Quang are designed with the common point of honoring the national cultural values through the art of light. The gods that have entered the legend such as Thanh Giong, Lac Long Quan, Chu Dong Tu are expressed by the artisans in a rich and diverse way through the models.

2025 is the first year the International Lantern Festival will be held. The festival will take place from January 18 to March 16, 2025 in Ocean City, Hanoi . This is also an opportunity for Tuyen Quang artisans to introduce and promote their homeland Tuyen Quang, famous for Thanh Tuyen Festival, the festival with the most giant Mid-Autumn models in Vietnam.
