Tuyen Quang ranks 8th in the country in terms of GRDP growth rate.

Industrial production value (at 2010 comparative prices) in 5 months is estimated at VND 9,332.3 billion, reaching 39.3% of the plan, up 18.3% over the same period in 2023 (up 24.7% over the previous reporting period).

Agricultural production is stable, the whole province planted 18,419.5 hectares of rice, reaching 101.8% of the plan; planted corn for grain on 8,261.6 hectares, reaching 102.7% of the plan; planted 6,414.1 hectares of new forest...

Total retail sales of goods, consumer service revenue and wholesale revenue are estimated at VND 16,081 billion, equal to 45.9% of the plan, up 11.1% over the same period in 2023.

The tourism sector has seen many improvements. In the first 5 months of the year, the province attracted 1,487,500 tourists, reaching 54% of the yearly plan, with revenue reaching 1,701 billion VND.

In addition, the province continues to implement the Project to attract investment in Tuyen Quang province for the period 2021-2025; support businesses to learn and survey the investment and business environment to implement projects; promptly resolve administrative procedures on non-budgetary investment.

In the first 5 months of 2024, new business registration certificates were granted to 122 enterprises, reaching 34.37% of the plan, up 41.86% over the same period with a registered capital of over VND 767,073 billion.

The GRDP growth rate of the province has demonstrated the determination of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province in proactively, flexibly and well performing the socio-economic development tasks, especially promptly concretizing and organizing the implementation of 3 breakthroughs and key tasks on socio-economic development.
