Building a young generation rich in revolutionary ideals
Applying digital technology to convey traditional values in a vivid and attractive way to young people is an urgent task, the most effective way to connect history with the present in the digital age. Young people are currently the "core" force to continue and develop the good traditional values of the nation, especially cultural values, revolutionary history, because of their ability to use and apply smart technology quickly.

Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Duong Minh Nguyet said: Implementing Project 06-DA/TU dated May 31, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have had many creative and innovative ways, actively applying digital technology to propagate, helping the nation's cultural traditions and revolutionary history become closer to students, union members, members of associations, team members, and children.
The Provincial Youth Union organized the "Check-in Tuyen Quang" video creation contest, with the theme "Learn about the culture and history of Tuyen Quang province", attracting 60 authors/groups of authors to participate in the contest, with 65 works; digitized 52 historical and cultural relics to serve the propaganda, introduction, and provision of information about the province's historical and cultural tourist attractions to tourists; created a number of video clips to promote historical documents and lessons... posted on the Provincial Youth Union's website and Fanpage. For the first time, the Provincial Youth Union organized the online interactive contest "Tuyen Quang in me", including the content of an online multiple choice question-answer contest about the province's cultural and historical traditions...
After nearly 3 years of implementing Project 06-DA/TU, the work of propaganda and education on revolutionary traditions has been seriously, creatively and appropriately directed by Party committees, authorities at all levels, sectors, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations, and localities in the province, with many clear changes.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to direct the compilation of the history of the Provincial Party Committee for the period 2006 - 2020; compiled propaganda documents on the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh and key leaders of the Party, State, and typical senior leaders during the time in Tuyen Quang; compiled and published 7,200 Q&A documents on the history of the Provincial Party Committee, the period 1940 - 1975 and the period 1976 - 2005; 1,100 documents on the knowledge group of the Provincial Party Committee's history, under the Party history training program taught at political centers in the province...
The provincial Department of Education and Training has effectively implemented integrated contents, integrating education on revolutionary ideals, ethics, lifestyle and arousing the desire to contribute in the subjects of History, Literature, Geography, experiential activities, career guidance... In recent years, our province has continuously had high school students winning high prizes at the National History Excellent Student Competition. In the 2023-2024 school year alone, 100% of the candidates participating in the competition won prizes, including 6 Second prizes, 2 Third prizes, and 2 Encouragement prizes. The average score of the History graduation exam of our province ranked 7th out of 63 provinces and cities.
Ms. Tran Quynh Chi, a History teacher at Tuyen Quang High School for the Gifted, shared that she has innovated teaching methods, educating students about revolutionary traditions such as: guiding students to create mind maps, timelines to help them easily remember historical milestones; integrating everyday stories, stories related to daily life to help students easily understand and visualize. She organizes role-playing lessons so that students themselves become historical figures and debate an issue, thereby stimulating their ability to think and judge about that event. In addition, in each lesson, she also conveys historical knowledge through videos, images, diagrams, charts... to help students remember longer and understand more deeply about the origin of the nation.
Development motivation
In recent years, the Party and State from the central to local levels have always paid attention to investing in developing tourism infrastructure and services at historical and cultural relics associated with preserving and promoting the value of cultural and historical heritage, especially at the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site and Kim Binh Special National Relic Site. The province has directed localities and functional sectors to pay attention to investing and exploiting potentials and strengths to diversify unique and attractive tourism products and types to attract tourists, create jobs, and increase income for local people; diversify propaganda, promotion and introduction activities to attract tourists; implement many activities to build the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site into a center for traditional education and revolutionary history associated with tourism exploitation and development...
Comrade Duong Van Hoa, Head of the Propaganda Department of Son Duong District Party Committee, said: The district focuses on preserving and promoting the values of historical relics associated with tourism development; coordinates with the provincial authorities to regularly renovate and embellish key historical relic clusters and sites; attracts businesses to implement a number of tourism development projects in the area such as: The Cultural Tourism Village Project and promoting the value of the Tan Trao Special National Historical Relic implemented by Flamingo Group; Project applying VR360 virtual reality technology to promote the image of the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site... The district has called for, coordinated with, and created conditions for a number of foreign organizations to sponsor nearly 14 billion VND to implement tourism development projects; created favorable conditions for travel agencies to build and develop inter-district and inter-provincial routes and tours. In 2024 alone, Tan Trao National Special Relic Site welcomed more than 900,000 visitors to visit and experience. Of which, the branches, grassroots party committees, district-level and Son Duong district-level socio-political organizations organized over 100 journeys to the source, admitted Party members, and awarded Party, Youth Union, and Young Pioneer badges at Tan Trao National Special Relic Site.
To effectively implement Project 06 in the coming time, Comrade Do Hong Thanh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, said: In addition to strengthening the leadership and direction of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities at all levels, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, innovating the forms, methods and ways of propaganda and education of revolutionary traditions is a necessary condition. The application of information technology and digital transformation in propaganda and education of revolutionary traditions needs to be further promoted. The work of educating knowledge of Party history through improving the quality of teaching and learning History in schools needs to be given more importance... Through that, raising awareness and arousing pride in every Tuyen Quang citizen about the tradition of the revolutionary homeland, the Capital of the Liberated Zone, the Capital of Resistance, the Heroic Province.
