1. The biggest and most important point of satisfaction is certainly the result. A victory, although not a great one, still helps the Vietnamese team get 3 points, thereby consolidating their position in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

In a long campaign, completing the points target against weaker opponents is always the top priority. In terms of points, coach Kim Sang Sik's students have done it.

2. Besides satisfaction, the match at Thong Nhat also left many regrets. There were 3 times the ball hit the post and crossbar after shots by Tien Linh, Thanh Nhan and Dinh Bac. If only one of those shots went into the net, the match would have been much easier for the Vietnamese team.

However, in the end, the biggest regret is not the bad luck but the Vietnamese team's finishing ability is still very... bad. Coach Kim Sang Sik's students were very close to scoring, but in the end, they still shot wide in an unbelievable way in an open position, facing...

The problem of finishing is not a new one. But clearly, the fact that the strikers continuously missed many great opportunities once again put the Vietnamese team in a difficult position (and had to rely on Nepal's own goal to win) in the context of having to play on a pitch that was not up to standard due to heavy rain before the match.

3. The Vietnamese team or coach Kim Sang Sik can be temporarily satisfied with the minimal victory they just achieved, because Nepal also missed a golden opportunity in the 84th minute when facing goalkeeper Trung Kien.

However, experts and fans may only be satisfied with the performance of the Vietnamese team in the first half when they played well, controlled the ball and created clear pressure.

The second half was a huge disappointment, with unbelievable disorganization and lack of cohesion from Kim Sang Sik's players, despite Nepal not having many successful passes.

Vietnam still won, but certainly could not convince because there are still many problems in the playing style. To conquer the further goal at the 2027 Asian Cup, Coach Kim Sang Sik needs more than 3 points. That means the stability, sharpness and true bravery of a big team instead of winning in the unstable, heart-stopping way as seen.
