Foreign exchange rates on July 25, 2025: USD and CNY maintain a stable trend

DNVN - Compared to the previous session, the exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong (VND) and the two key currencies, the US Dollar (USD) and the Chinese Yuan (CNY), at banks only slightly adjusted on the morning of July 25.

Specifically, the State Bank adjusted the central exchange rate down 2 VND compared to the morning of July 24, down to 25,164 VND/USD. Within the ±5% band as prescribed, the ceiling of today's exchange rate is 26,422 VND/USD, and the floor is 23,906 VND/USD. The exchange rate at the State Bank's Transaction Office is currently listed at 23,958 VND/USD for buying and 26,374 VND/USD for selling.

At the commercial banking sector, at 8:30 a.m. on July 25, Vietcombank and BIDV simultaneously listed the USD buying and selling prices at 25,960 - 26,320 VND/USD. Compared to the morning session on July 24, BIDV adjusted down 10 VND in both buying and selling directions, while Vietcombank kept the listed price unchanged.

Regarding the CNY, Vietcombank currently maintains the exchange rate at 3,594 - 3,709 VND/CNY (buying - selling) compared to yesterday morning. Meanwhile, BIDV adjusted the buying rate up by 1 VND and the selling rate up by 2 VND, raising the exchange rate to 3,605 - 3,703 VND/CNY (buying - selling).
