Heavy rains in recent days have caused some main roads and many cultivated areas along the Krong Nang River to be severely flooded, directly affecting the lives of local people. Faced with the complicated weather situation, the commune authorities have urgently deployed response measures to minimize damage.

The Commune Civil Defense Command was present at key locations to inspect and propose plans to ensure people's safety. The commune police and military forces were on duty at dangerous locations, guiding people to move safely, and at the same time placing warning signs and implementing measures to limit risks.

At Tan Hiep dam area - the border between Dliê Ya and Tam Giang communes - the water level is rising rapidly, the flow is strong, posing many potential safety risks. Local authorities call on people to comply with warning signs, seriously listen to instructions from authorities and absolutely not move or gather near this area. In addition, people are advised to regularly update flood information and proactively protect themselves and their families.

Heavy floods continue to cause damage to low-lying areas along the Krong Nang River, especially in the agricultural production sector. According to initial estimates, more than 5 hectares of coffee that are about to be harvested have been deeply submerged, seriously threatening the productivity and income of coffee growers.

This extreme weather situation is raising concerns about the quality of pepper for the upcoming harvest, expected to take place after the Lunar New Year, as many pepper growing areas may be severely affected by prolonged rain and floods.
