Previously, many tons of goods, including necessities, were supported by benefactors and gathered at Regiment 940 (Air Force Officer School, Air Defense - Air Force) stationed in Dak Lak province.
All of these necessities were transported by helicopter to Tien Chau Stadium, Tuy An Dong Commune (Dak Lak Province), an area still heavily flooded due to heavy rain and floods, making life very difficult for the people. The soldiers quickly coordinated with the local authorities to give gifts to the people.

Since November 20, Regiment 940 has mobilized many forces to take injured people due to floods to the emergency room; and distributed thousands of necessities to people in heavily flooded and isolated wards and communes.

In Lac Chi and Xuan My villages, Hoa My commune (Dak Lak province), Regiment 940 mobilized many forces, using boats to transport more than 2,000 necessities, going into every corner to give to people in flooded areas. These gifts were mobilized by Regiment 940 from companies and businesses such as Hong Ngoc, Phuc Nguyen,...


Also in the past few days, the unit has created conditions for nearly 50 people on 1 passenger bus, 2 trucks and 1 car traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Ha Tinh who were stuck due to floods, to stay at the Regiment Hall area. Here, the Regiment has created conditions to support people with places to sleep, rest, eat, drink... In addition, the unit has also mobilized human resources and vehicles to promptly transport many people injured by floods to the hospital for timely emergency treatment.
