Also last night, 90 tons of necessities (at the receiving facilities of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross) were transported overnight to Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces to support people in flood-affected areas.
The Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee is opening 18 points to receive relief goods throughout the city, including the old Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau areas. Currently, the city is prioritizing receiving necessities, blankets, warm clothes, etc. to promptly support people.

The receiving unit notes that people should not send fresh and raw goods (fruits, bread, homemade cakes, perishable foods, etc.) because transportation in the flooded area is currently very difficult. At the same time, we request that units and individuals carefully check the expiry date of the products before sending them.
On the afternoon of November 22, at the headquarters of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City worked with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province and departments and branches on overcoming the consequences of floods.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed on many coordination plans and mobilized resources to urgently support people in flood-affected areas.

Ho Chi Minh City is mobilizing all necessary goods, vehicles and human resources to reach and provide relief to isolated areas. The city is also deploying drones to safely transport food and essential goods to deeply flooded areas.
In addition to the VND50 billion support, Ho Chi Minh City sent 50 doctors to Khanh Hoa, divided into 5 locations to examine, treat and prevent epidemics for people who are avoiding floods. The city's relief team prepared 50,000 essential gift bags, 10,000 family medicine bags and mobilized volunteers to participate in transporting and coordinating goods with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province. Field kitchens were also set up, providing about 12,000 free meals per day.

Ho Chi Minh City will coordinate with local forces to restore roads, bridges, schools, medical stations, treat polluted water sources and support the telecommunications industry to restore signals, ensuring smooth communication. The survey and allocation of resources will be implemented according to actual needs, avoiding duplication and ensuring the highest efficiency.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City supports Khanh Hoa in a "focus, key" direction, fastest and most suitable to the actual conditions of the locality.
Local assignment to local support
Previously, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu signed the announcement of the Politburo's conclusion on overcoming the consequences caused by rain and floods in the Central region.
The Politburo and Secretariat established five working delegations led by Party and State leaders to continue to inspect, direct, and urge the work of overcoming the consequences of rain and floods in a number of localities.
In the immediate future, some localities will be assigned the task of directly supporting the provision of food, clothing, medicine, and medical staff to some localities that have suffered the most damage due to rain and floods.
Specifically, Hanoi supports Gia Lai province; Ho Chi Minh City supports Khanh Hoa; Hai Phong supports Dak Lak; Quang Ninh province supports Lam Dong province.
