To ensure safety, Kienlong Bank announced the temporary suspension of some transaction points due to the impact of flooding in Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa provinces on November 19-20. The bank said it will maintain the temporary suspension status until further notice.

The temporarily closed transaction points include: KienlongBank Tuy An, KienlongBank Son Hoa, KienlongBank Song Cau (Dak Lak province); KienlongBank Dien Khanh, KienlongBank Khanh Hoa (Khanh Hoa province).

During these two days, Sacombank also temporarily suspended transactions at a series of transaction offices in Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa and has not announced their resumption of operations.

These are Phu Tai Transaction Office under Binh Dinh Branch (Gia Lai province); Dien Khanh Transaction Office, Cam Lam Transaction Office under Khanh Hoa Branch (Khanh Hoa province); Phu Yen Branch (Dak Lak province) and affiliated transaction offices including: Tran Hung Dao Transaction Office (Tuy Hoa ward, Dak Lak province); Nam Tuy Hoa Transaction Office (Phu Yen ward, Dak Lak province); and Ninh Hoa Branch (Ninh Hoa ward, Khanh Hoa province).

Similarly, on November 20, Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) announced the temporary suspension of operations of all branches/transaction offices in Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen).

In Khanh Hoa province, ACB transaction offices temporarily suspended operations including: Ninh Hoa transaction office, Vinh Phuoc transaction office, Cho Dam transaction office and Phuong Son transaction office.

ATMs in the above locations were also announced to temporarily stop operating to ensure safety.

Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) also announced the temporary suspension of branches/transaction offices and ATMs from November 20 in the affected areas including: Tuy Phuoc Transaction Office, An Nhon Transaction Office (Binh Dinh Branch); Ninh Hoa Transaction Office (Khanh Hoa Branch).

SHB said the list may continue to be updated if the flood situation becomes more complicated. The bank will update the resumption time according to the situation in the area.

Similarly, Bao Viet Bank announced that it will temporarily suspend transactions from November 20 for Khanh Hoa Branch (8A Dinh Tien Hoang, Nha Trang Ward) and Nha Trang Transaction Office (Nam Nha Trang Ward). ATM transaction points in Khanh Hoa province will also temporarily suspend operations from November 20.

At Techcombank , to ensure the safety of customers and employees due to the flood situation in Khanh Hoa province, Techcombank announced the temporary suspension of operations at the Nha Trang branch on November 20.

During the flood season, banks encourage customers to use electronic banking services.
