All-out effort to help people overcome flood consequences before November 30
In particular, the Ministry of National Defense requested agencies and units to continue to thoroughly implement the telegrams of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of National Defense on focusing on responding to especially large floods in the South Central region.
Request the General Staff to direct agencies and units to mobilize maximum forces and means, resolutely deploy measures to quickly overcome the consequences of floods, inundation, and landslides in a spirit of urgency, speed, determination, and effectiveness.
Actively coordinate with local Party committees, authorities and forces in the area to approach households in areas affected by floods and landslides in recent days to promptly overcome the consequences, provide emergency relief with food, clothes, medicine, and necessities for people; continue to search for missing people.
The General Department of Logistics and Technology shall strengthen direction, supervision and inspection of subordinate units to do a good job of overcoming the consequences of floods, inundations and landslides; direct military medical forces to synchronously deploy sanitation and epidemic prevention measures, spray disinfectants, provide medical examination and treatment, and provide free medicine to people.
Organize the production of dry food, sewing civilian clothes and blankets; transport relief goods from the State Reserve Department ( Ministry of Finance ) to localities to hand over to Military Regions 5 and 7 for receipt and distribution according to regulations.
Military Regions 5 and 7 directed the military commands of the provinces, agencies and units under their authority to mobilize forces and means to coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to immediately approach households in areas affected by deep flooding, separation and isolation due to floods and landslides in recent days to promptly support people in cleaning and sanitizing houses, roads, schools, medical facilities, offices, factories and businesses; and repair damaged houses, to be completed before November 30.
Fix telecom signal loss problems immediately
The Air Defense - Air Force, Corps 18 is ready with forces and means to conduct search and rescue flights; transport food, medicine, and necessities to flooded, isolated, and cut-off areas when ordered.
The Communications Corps and Viettel Group coordinate with provincial military commands and localities to ensure forces and means to immediately fix telecommunication signal loss incidents, ensuring uninterrupted communication.
The Chemical Corps coordinated with Military Region 5 to mobilize forces and vehicles to support localities in clearing roads, spraying disinfectants, ensuring environmental sanitation, and preventing epidemics.
The remaining units coordinate with local authorities and military commands of the provinces where they are stationed to carry out the task of being ready to mobilize the best forces and means to overcome the consequences, search and rescue, and participate in rebuilding houses for people affected by floods, inundation, and landslides.
