The measles vaccination rate in the area reached 97.1%.

According to the Dak Lak Provincial Center for Disease Control, the second phase of the 2025 measles vaccination campaign in the province has been implemented and completed on schedule and according to targets.

Accordingly, from March 24th to March 31st, the health sector implemented a measles vaccination campaign in 180 communes, wards, and towns across 15 districts, towns, and cities in the area. The overall vaccination rate for all groups reached 97.1%, with the following rates: 96.3% for children aged 6 to under 9 months; 96.6% for children aged 1-5 years; and 97.5% for children aged 6-10 years.

Although the vaccination rate is high, there is still a segment of the population that has not responded to the vaccination campaign, and others have been unable to participate due to illness or absence from the locality at the time of vaccination.

In the coming period, the health sector will continue to strengthen its efforts in disseminating information and encouraging people to get catch-up and supplementary vaccinations for the remaining eligible individuals, integrating this into regular vaccination sessions at health stations.
