Of which, the group of candidates studying under the 2018 general education program accounted for the majority with 33,432/33,563 students graduating (99.61%). In contrast, the group studying under the 2006 program had only 10/20 students meeting the requirements, corresponding to a rate of 50%.
This year's exam clearly showed the advantage of Social Science subjects such as: Economic and Legal Education with an average score of 7.68; Literature with 6.73 points; History and Geography both exceeded the 6.3 point mark. Along with that, the percentage of Social Science subjects scoring 5 points or more fluctuated from 84% to 94%. Notably, the province had 256 exams scoring 10 points; leading was Geography with 104 exams, followed by Economic and Legal Education with 52 exams and Physics with 45 exams.

In the old Vinh Long province alone, the graduation rate reached about 99.5%, with more than 11,300 candidates recognized. Of the 42 units with students taking the exam, 34 schools achieved a 100% graduation rate, mainly large-scale public high schools such as Vinh Long High School, Pham Hung High School, Luu Van Liet High School... Some Continuing Education centers have graduation rates ranging from more than 81% to less than 99%.
According to the assessment of the leaders of the education sector of Vinh Long province, the average exam scores and graduation rate have demonstrated the efforts and determination of the education sector in synchronously implementing solutions to improve the quality of comprehensive education.
