The team's physical and mental health are currently very good. The players quickly moved to the luxury hotel, arranged by the Organizing Committee (OC) of the host country, Indonesia.
Shortly after arriving in Indonesia, the U23 Vietnam players were energized with a light meal at the hotel. Because the team had just undergone a long journey, coach Kim Sang Sik decided to adjust the training schedule.
Accordingly, U23 Vietnam will practice later than originally planned. Coach Kim Sang Sik wants the players to have more time to rest after arriving in the archipelago country.

The first match of U23 Vietnam at the U23 Southeast Asian tournament is against U23 Laos on July 19. Then, on July 22, coach Kim Sang Sik's team will have a match against U23 Cambodia.
In the first match, U23 Vietnam will play at Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi. In the second match, coach Kim Sang Sik's team will play at the famous Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
If they reach the semi-finals, all remaining matches in this year's tournament will take place at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
