Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Bien commune held the first conference

On the afternoon of July 22, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of An Bien commune (An Giang province) held the first conference for the 2024-2029 term to announce the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of An Giang province on the establishment of the committee, recognition of committee members and positions in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of An Bien commune, term 2024-2029.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Bien commune consists of 98 members; comrade Tran Van Minh holds the position of chairman; the vice chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Bien commune include 4 comrades: Le Kim Phien, Le Van Lien, Thi Hong Nhanh, Tran Van Ven.

At the conference, delegates approved the operating regulations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Bien commune; summarized the activities of the front in the first 6 months of 2025 and proposed directions and tasks for the last 6 months of the year.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the commune and its member organizations have focused on organizing and implementing tasks and achieved many results. The whole commune registered 96.93% of cultural families; the hamlets and neighborhoods registered 100% of cultural families.

Social security work has mobilized over 1.2 billion VND to give over 2,600 gifts, 3 tons of rice, and 7 water dispensers to households in difficult circumstances. The whole commune has 24 grassroots mediation teams with 186 members. Since the beginning of the year, 11/18 cases have been successfully mediated, contributing to stabilizing local security and order.
