On the morning of June 26, at the Provincial Conference Center, the People's Committee of Lao Cai province held a regular press conference to provide information on the socio-economic development situation in June and the first 6 months of 2025; directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; and provide information on contents and issues of interest to press agencies and reporters.

Accordingly, with the high determination of the political system, the province's socio-economic situation has achieved many positive points: Economic growth rate is expected to reach over 7%; agricultural, forestry and fishery production is basically maintained and stable; disease prevention and control for livestock, poultry and aquatic products is well implemented to prevent major epidemics from occurring; forest management, protection and development continue to be strengthened. The industrial production value in the first 6 months of the year is estimated at 22,987.5 billion VND, up 7.3% over the same period.

The number of visitors to tourist attractions increased sharply, estimated at 5.63 million, reaching 56.4% of the plan, up 36.3% over the same period. State budget collection in the area achieved good results...
