In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera , Mr. Ermak stated: “To start negotiations, we need to go back to the situation two years ago at 4:00 a.m. (February 24, 2022), when the first shot was fired... Then we will talk about how to regain our sovereignty up to the 1991 border.”
According to Mr. Yermak, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has never expressed his readiness to compromise on territory, but is “ready to negotiate”, based on the situation before Russia's special military operation in Ukraine.
However, Russian President Vladimir Putin previously asserted that in order to negotiate peace , it is necessary to recognize the Crimean peninsula, the Donbass region, the Kherson and Zaporozhye provinces as Russian regions, strengthen Ukraine's non-aligned and non-nuclear status, demilitarize and de-fascize the country, as well as lift sanctions against Moscow. Kiev has rejected these demands.
In a related development, Russian Telegram channels reported that a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) targeted a winery in Russia's Voronezh province, causing a fire at an unspecified industrial facility and injuring one person.
Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev said that about 10 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed or intercepted in the area on the night of October 27. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
Baza News ' Telegram channel, which is close to Russian security agencies, and several other Russian news Telegram channels reported that there were two explosions near a winery in the village of Krasnoye in the province.
