On the afternoon of July 7, the Vietnam Association of Information Technology (VAIT) coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications (MIC) to organize a workshop to introduce the platform and applications of blockchain technology in digital asset management and digital economic development to introduce the potential, benefits; plan to form, develop and introduce practical applications of blockchain technology in digital asset management, increasing the value of products.

At the workshop, the reporters of the Department of Information and Communications focused on introducing the blockchain platform, the implementation plan for building DaNangChain and practical applications; applying real-virtual connection solutions to increase value for handicraft products and OCOP products of the city; introducing the digital exhibition model.
Many businesses expressed their desire for the management agency to research, form and develop a pilot blockchain platform in the city; at the same time, connect and participate in the DaNangChain platform in increasing the value of handicraft products, Ngu Hanh Son stone sculptures, OCOP products and in the fields of digital document management, digital museums, food traceability, land management, etc. to aim at the goal of forming an international financial center and developing a sustainable and effective digital economy in Da Nang .
Within the framework of the workshop, the Department of Information and Communications and the Vietnam Digital Signature and Electronic Transaction Club, organizations providing public digital signature certification services signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to promote the popularization of digital signatures in the city; in particular, deploying the issuance of free digital signatures to people to facilitate the use of public services and electronic transactions.
