Application of science and technology to develop mechanical industry

On August 24, the Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Dak Lak Provincial Mechanical Association jointly organized the Workshop "Application of science and technology to promote the development of supporting industries in mechanical processing and connecting product consumption".

At the workshop, experts, engineers, and managers shared some contents related to the impacts of the 4.0 industrial revolution on the mechanical industry; the current status of the mechanical industry in Dak Lak province and the development orientation in the coming time; the role of the Mechanical Association in linking Dak Lak mechanical enterprises; industrial promotion activities contributing to promoting the development of mechanical processing and production and connecting product consumption; to survive and develop in the 4.0 technology era, what do mechanical enterprises need to do; cooperation and specialization in processing and manufacturing to improve mechanical production capacity; forming clusters of mechanical processing and production to attract investment in developing supporting industries...

Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Vuong Huu Nhi, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, said that mechanical support industry plays a fundamental role in industrial sectors. For Dak Lak, the locality has cooperated with a number of provinces and cities nationwide in the field of science and technology in the mechanical industry.

However, the mechanical industry is developing slowly and still has many limitations, low production capacity, lack of branded, high-quality products. Through this scientific conference, we will contribute to solving the above limitations and shortcomings; at the same time, recommend solutions and orientations to promote the development of the province's mechanical industry in the coming years.
